WHY WE EXIST
More Than a Coffee Company
Brewed in Defiance was founded on a simple observation.
Most Americans know the story of the Boston Tea Party. Far fewer know what many colonists chose to drink after rejecting tea.
That overlooked chapter sparked a question that grew into years of research, conversation, and discovery.
Our mission is to bring that forgotten story back into the conversation—not by changing history, but by helping people see a part of it that is often overlooked.
